Never Have I Ever !

I posted a reel over the weekend. And never have I ever had SO much success with an IG post. Holy moly. 42K+ views (and counting) by mid-week!

First, let me acknowledge that 40K+ views is probably a drop in the bucket for a professional content creator.

But as a (very) small, local, heart-centered business, gaining this kind of reach is exciting. And maybe not for the reasons you'd think.

In my heart, I know my personal value and the value of Freckle Face Yoga doesn't lie in a reel. It lies in the community, the gathering, the fellow moms who uphold my business, and the sweet little yogis who show up with full hearts and open minds.

But getting this kind of reach has introduced Freckle Face Yoga to more people, and therefore - it’s helped us grow!

And, not for nothing, but the dopamine rush is real. That's what these apps and algorithms are all about, right?! It's hard not to get a little high off an Insta success.

So if you're new here, let me say a quick hello! 

I'm Jenny — a certified yoga teacher with 7+ years of experience teaching (and many more as a yoga student). 

I create community and hold space for mothers and their families.

I gather with mothers and bring mindfulness, movement, and play to their kiddos.

I teach moms about Matrescence and how their unique Matricentric journey happens in tandem with the expectations of modern motherhood. And we talk openly about how to reshape and rediscover our own identities as mothers (and humans).

I'm also a mom myself, to two special girls - neither of whom has "provided me" with an average parenting journey. My path has been non-linear, yet life-altering. 

As their mom, I've become a small business owner; an advocate for inclusion, disability awareness, and maternal health; a substitute school teacher; a PTO leader; a community maker; a local changemaker.
