-
Freckle Face Yoga is a community-centered yoga and mindfulness “mobile studio” founded by Jenny Robberson, longtime yogi, mom of two, and fierce advocate for maternal mental health, inclusion, and family-centered supports.
Jenny launched Freckle Face Yoga in 2023, inspired by her own freckle-faced girls and her own desire to cultivate village-style community for local moms and their families.
Classes and circles are designed to support mothers and their families by offering connection, movement, rest, and play.
-
Freckle Face Yoga offers classes for all ages and stages:
Mini Yogis (preschoolers ages 3-5): Playful yoga with songs, props, and imagination.
Kids Yoga (elementary-aged students): Yoga & mindfulness with a focus on movement, self-regulation, and kindness.
No-School Day Kids Yoga Pop-Ups: A creative, movement-filled session typically with a central theme and includes a craft or other mindful activity.
Mom’s Yoga Night: Monthly yoga gatherings just for moms.
Community & Library Classes: Inclusive, accessible yoga offered in local spaces.
Mothers Circles: Our Circles provide the opportunity to connect and explore the complexities of Modern Motherhood through guided discussion. We end each circle with restorative movement.

Absolutely. As the mother of two girls - one who’s neurospicy and the other with a physical disability, inclusion is at the heart of Freckle Face Yoga.
Classes are designed to welcome all bodies, all abilities, and all neurotypes. We celebrate individuality & uniqueness - because yoga is meant for everyone and every body.

Jenny brings over 20 years of yoga practice and a rich blend of specialized training in:
Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga
Kids Yoga
Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy
The Matricentric Way (a mother-centered professional training)
Her teaching blends warmth, humor, and deep compassion to create classes that feel safe, accessible, playful, and a soft place to land and be held.
-
Trauma-informed yoga means creating a class environment rooted in choice, safety, and respect.
Jenny offers multiple pose options and emphasizes personal agency over perfection in hopes that participants feel grounded, empowered, supported and loved.
-
“Mother-centric” places our unique experiences as mothers as a central narrative. This lens, inspired by the field of Matrescence, honors motherhood as a major identity shift, not just a role.
In practice, this means Freckle Face mom-specific classes and circles consider the physical, emotional, and social transformations of motherhood and offer space for support, connection with others, and reconnection to oneself as a mother and a human.
-
Freckle Face Yoga is a “mobile studio” so our classes are held in local yoga studios and community spaces, libraries, pop-up venues around the area, and sometimes private residences.
Each listing on the Register Now page includes location details and registration info.

It’s more than okay! Freckle Face Yoga classes offer variations for all experience levels. You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or “good at yoga.” Because, guess what?! No one is meant to be “good at yoga.”
Yoga is about creating an ongoing practice that ebbs and flows with body changes, age, ability, and time.
